Lack of detailed information about many topics in the ASQ CBA Body of Knowledge (BOK) makes this book of very little use for those preparing for the ASQ Certified Biomedical Auditor (CBA) examination. For example, the book fails to include many key facts concerning the numerous FDA regulations, FDA guidance documents and EU, ISO, IEC, and other standards in the BOK. Such facts include the extent to which certain standards incorporate or parallel content in others ("comparable" standards), what important content in one standard is not included in a comparable standard, and details in any of these standards which frequently appear in the ASQ CBA Examinations.

Unfortunately it arrived 3 days late and when I tried to contact the seller asking for tracking number I did not receive a response. The quality of the book is great, and matched the ordering description so I am happy to have received it eventually."

This is an authentic collection of Syrian and Lebanese dishes which have been handed down from mother to daughter for generations. Helen Corey learned these recipes from her mother, a native of a Damascus suburb. Her testimony to the health values of these foods is a tribute to her mother who lived an active healthy life to the age of 107. Helen continues to follow in her foot-steps planting her own garden and herbs stemming back to the days when their home was the focal point of all Middle Eastern visitors who sat at picnic benches under their grape arbor as they feasted on Tabooley while plucking the tender grape vine leaves to use as scoops. One has only to read these pages to learn that Helen was brought up in an environment where the family extended themselves to their age-old proverb "God fed you - Eat and Feed".

    More than just a cookbook, one will learn a great deal about the people of the Middle East through their customs and cultures.     From the Author
    I've been blessed with a heritage that gave me an insight on the land of Bible history. My ancestors lived on farms in the Syria which produced not only a myriad of vegetables but every imaginable kind of fruit tree and walnut trees one would want. When my parents came to this country, they duplicated their farming skills to produce an acre of vegetables that made for tantalizing eating. And we had plenty of fruit with an abundance of more than twelve fruit trees, mulberry and blackberry bushes and quince bush.

    My passion for cooking and planting comes from my beloved mother. Noone could bake thin mountain bread as she did. It was easy for her to bake 25 pounds of flour at one time (as seen in the book). And when my sister and I were called in to help her make filo dough, it was the flakiest dough for the making of Baklawa. She was a great teacher and I've learned so much from her green thumb that has me planting fava beans as soon as the soil can be tilled in March. Fava beans and the acid free cucumber called "miktha" were always sought after by anyone familiar with Middle Eastern food. My culture has a wealth of historical information and healthy foods and I wanted to share them with the public. I believe that the recipe of understanding one another's customs and cultures can bring about true world peace and brotherhood.

    is the best Syrian/Lebanese cook book. It is the same recipe's

    This is the most authentic Lebanese Recipe cookbook that I have found. It is just like Sitto used to make...I enjoy not only the recipes but the history and storytelling. It brings back the feeling of family for me.
